FAQ
Q1: What is the TAKEX SSP-T200 Series?
A: The SSP-T200 Series consists of through-beam bin-picking sensors designed for parts-picking confirmation and picking-error prevention.
Q2: What models are available?
A: The current lineup includes SSP-T205, T210, T213, T216 and corresponding -PJ M12 connector-pigtail versions, for a total of eight models.
Q3: What is the detecting distance?
A: All SSP-T200 models provide a detecting distance of 2 m.
Q4: What is the beam interval?
A: All models use a 25 mm beam interval and detect opaque objects Φ35 mm or larger.
Q5: What is the difference between SSP-T205, T210, T213, and T216?
A: They differ mainly in beam count and detecting width: 5/100 mm, 10/225 mm, 13/300 mm, and 16/375 mm.
Q6: Are separate NPN and PNP models required?
A: No. NPN or PNP control output can be selected using the sensor's internal switch.
Q7: Can Light-ON and Dark-ON operation be selected?
A: Yes. Light-ON or Dark-ON operation is switch-selectable to match the required control logic.
Q8: What are the JOB and FAULT indicators used for?
A: Green JOB indicators show the correct picking location, while the red FAULT indicator warns the operator of an incorrect picking action.
Q9: Does the SSP-T200 require a synchronization line?
A: No. The series uses asynchronous operation and therefore requires no synchronization line between the transmitter and receiver.
Q10: What applications are suitable for the SSP-T200 Series?
A: It is suited to automotive parts, assembly lines, parts racks, logistics picking, and pick-to-light systems for confirming correct parts removal and reducing picking errors.
