Swing Elbow Type Mini Quick Fitting

  • Brand GENTLE Fittings
Features
  • Swing + Rotational Compliance: The tube port swings and rotates to absorb misalignment and machine motion, reducing hose stress and wear (not for continuous high-speed rotation).
  • Hex Wrenching, Easy Orientation: An external hex above the thread lets you seat and orient the fitting precisely; pre-sealed threads typically require no PTFE tape.
  • Compact Profile, Full Range of Sizes: ~40% smaller and ~20% slimmer for tight layouts in panels, behind-panel spaces, rail slots, and fixture corners.
  • Push-to-Connect, Quick Service: Insert fully to the stop to lock; press the release ring for fast, tool-free removal.
  • Airtight & Vibration-Resistant: O-ring + metal collet deliver stable sealing within 0–0.9 MPa, 5–60 °C.
  • Sizes & Options: 4/6 mm tubes; threads M5, RC1/8, RC1/4 (by model); black or grey-white (-GW) for circuit ID.
  • Applications: Robot-arm jumpers, jig/fixture links, rail-side corners, and dynamic routing in confined cabinet/enclosure locations.

FAQ

Q1: What is the swing/rotating joint for?
A: It compensates misalignment and motion, relieving hose stress and kinks to extend service life. It is not designed for continuous high-speed rotation.

Q2: Can it rotate 360° continuously?
A: Continuous rotation is not recommended. SL is a compensation joint for angle adjustment and occasional movement; use a rotary joint for continuous rotation.

Q3: Which tube sizes/materials are supported?
A: 4 mm and 6 mm OD nylon (PA) and polyurethane (PU) tubes. Use a PU tube cutter to square-cut the tube for sealing integrity.

Q4: What thread options and installation tips?
A: M5, RC1/8, RC1/4 depending on model. Threads are pre-sealed; hand-tighten first, then snug with a wrench per site torque practice. Avoid over-torque to protect sealing surfaces.

Q5: Operating conditions?
A: 0–0.9 MPa, 5–60 °C with clean, dry compressed air. Filtration and water removal are recommended to maintain sealing and service life.

Q6: How does SL differ from TL/TLL/UL?
A: SL = L-elbow with swing/rotating compensation; TL = fixed L-elbow; TLL = fixed L-elbow with extended neck for recessed spots; UL = L-union with two push-in ports (no threads).

Q7: Any tips for push-in and removal?
A: Push the tube fully to the stop and perform a light pull test. For removal, depressurize first, press the release collar, then pull the tube straight to avoid scratching the OD.

Q8: Suitable for vacuum or oily media?
A: Case-by-case. For vacuum, oil mist, or special media, provide pressure/medium/temperature for material-compatibility review and on-site validation.
