FAQ
Q1: What is the TAKEX Middle-G Series?
A: The Middle-G Series consists of compact embedded amplifier photo sensors for built-in machine use with a fully resin-filled IP67 housing.
Q2: What sensing methods are available?
A: The lineup includes through-beam, polarized retroreflective, and diffuse reflective sensing.
Q3: What is the maximum detecting distance?
A: GT5 through-beam models provide a maximum detecting distance of 7 m.
Q4: What is the detecting range of the polarized retroreflective models?
A: GMR2 models provide a 30–1,500 mm detecting range with a reflector.
Q5: What is the detecting distance of the diffuse reflective models?
A: GSR05 models provide a 500 mm detecting distance using 100 × 100 mm white paper.
Q6: Are NPN and PNP models available?
A: Yes. Through-beam, polarized retroreflective, and diffuse reflective configurations are available with NPN or PNP open-collector outputs.
Q7: Is Light-ON/Dark-ON operation selectable?
A: Yes. Light-ON and Dark-ON operation can be selected using the switch on the sensor.
Q8: Can sensitivity be adjusted?
A: Yes. Sensitivity adjustment is provided, with the adjustment located on the receiver for through-beam models.
Q9: Are M8 connector models available?
A: Yes. Models with the -J suffix use an M8 connector and support straight or angled 2 m connector cables.
Q10: What applications are suitable for the Middle-G Series?
A: The series is intended for built-in sensing in general machinery, logistics and conveyor systems, automotive and parts processing, food, and pharmaceutical equipment.
