FAQ
Q1: What is the MVS-201 Series?
A: The MVS-201 is a pressure sensor with solenoid valve control. It monitors vacuum pressure and controls vacuum generation and blow-off solenoid valves.
Q2: How does the MVS-201 energy-saving control work?
A: In energy-saving mode, the vacuum generation solenoid automatically turns OFF when the set vacuum pressure is reached. When vacuum pressure drops near the set value, it turns ON again to restore vacuum.
Q3: How does the MVS-201 reduce wiring?
A: Only one 4-core cable connects to the controller, while the solenoid valve wiring can be connected from the sensor side, reducing wiring at the controller side.
Q4: What suction control modes are available?
A: Energy-saving mode, timed OFF mode, and solenoid valve continuous ON mode are available for different suction control requirements.
Q5: Can the MVS-201 control blow-off?
A: Yes. When the suction / blow-off command turns OFF, the vacuum generation solenoid turns OFF and the blow-off solenoid automatically turns ON to release vacuum.
Q6: What is the pressure range of the MVS-201?
A: The pressure range is -101 to 500 kPa, with a display resolution of 1 kPa for monitoring vacuum to positive pressure range.
Q7: What output types are available for MVS-201?
A: NPN open-collector output and PNP open-collector output are available. Both are 1-point outputs with a maximum load current of 125 mA.
Q8: What should be noted when using the MVS-201 with a self-holding function?
A: When used together with the ejector self-holding function, the energy-saving function cannot be used, so the control method should be confirmed before selection.
