FAQ
Q1: What is the FUJIKURA RS Series?
A: The RS Series is an internally piloted super precision regulator that uses a rolling diaphragm and pressure-sensing capsule for servo-balanced pressure control.
Q2: What pressure ranges are available?
A: The RS-4 Series covers 0.014 to 0.42MPa. The RS-8 and RS・HR-8 Series cover 0.014 to 0.84MPa.
Q3: What pressure control performance does the RS Series provide?
A: Sensitivity is within 0.1% F.S., and repeatability is within ±0.1% F.S.
Q4: What is the difference between RS and RS・HR?
A: Standard RS models provide a relief flow rate of 130 L/min, while RS・HR models provide 260 L/min.
Q5: What pressure range is available for the RS・HR model?
A: The RS・HR model is available only with pressure range code 8, covering 0.014 to 0.84MPa.
Q6: What pipe port sizes are available?
A: Standard RS models are available with Rc1/8, Rc1/4, or Rc3/8 ports. RS・HR models are available with Rc1/4 or Rc3/8 ports.
Q7: Can a pressure gauge be added?
A: Yes. G025, G060, and G100 pressure gauge options are available.
Q8: Is an ozone-resistant specification available?
A: Yes. The F option uses fluororubber diaphragm material for ozone resistance.
Q9: Is pressure readjustment required after extended downtime?
A: No. The regulated pressure does not require readjustment after an extended period without operation.
Q10: What applications is the RS Series suitable for?
A: It is suitable for tension control in printing, paper processing, plastic film, and textile equipment. It can also be used for polishing machines, testing machines, air balancers, leak testers, dispensing equipment, and other precision pneumatic systems.
