FAQ
Q1: What is the FUJIKURA RT Series?
A: The RT Series is a precision electro-pneumatic converter that directly sets output air pressure using a voltage or current input signal.
Q2: What standard models are available?
A: Standard models include RT・E/P-8-2, RT・I/P-8-2, and RT・I/P-1-2.
Q3: What is the difference between E/P and I/P?
A: E/P is the voltage-input type using a DC 0–10V signal. I/P is the current-input type using a DC 4–20mA signal.
Q4: What set pressure ranges are available?
A: RT・E/P-8-2 and RT・I/P-8-2 cover 0.02 to 0.82MPa. RT・I/P-1-2 covers 0.02 to 0.10MPa.
Q5: What pressure control accuracy does the RT Series provide?
A: Linearity is within ±1.5% F.S., and hysteresis is within ±1.0% F.S.
Q6: Do all RT models provide the same resolution?
A: RT・E/P-8-2 and RT・I/P-8-2 provide resolution within ±0.1% F.S. RT・I/P-1-2 provides resolution within ±0.2% F.S.
Q7: Does the RT Series require a separate power supply?
A: No. Its open-loop system sets pressure through the input signal without a separate control power supply.
Q8: Is there a restriction on mounting orientation?
A: No. The unit can be installed in any orientation, but zero and span adjustment must be performed after installation.
Q9: What port sizes are used?
A: Both the pipe port and pressure gauge port are Rc1/4.
Q10: What applications is the RT Series suitable for?
A: It is suitable for dancer-roll tension control, spot-welding gun force control, air-brake tension control, polishing-machine press control, dispensing, air balancers, pneumatic valves, and robotic handling-force control.
