Q1: How many ports does UEF have?
A: One side M5 female port. The top is a slotted plug (with rubber washer); the bottom is an M5 mounting stud (with rubber washer). It’s not a multi-port fitting.
Q2: Where are the two rubber washers?
A: One sits under the plug, the other under the mounting stud—both are face-seal points.
Q3: Is it reusable?
A: Yes. During service, inspect the rubber washers and threads; replace worn parts as needed.
Q4: Can I connect a hose directly?
A: Use a male M5 push-in fitting (or compatible adapter) in the side port to connect tubing.
Q5: What media/conditions are recommended?
A: Clean, filtered compressed air. For vacuum, special media, or high-vibration use, validate material compatibility and sealing in your setup first.
Q6: Any installation notes?
A: Both the plug and stud are face-seal interfaces. Tighten to seat and seal—avoid over-torque that could damage the rubber washer. Ensure the mating face is clean before attaching instruments or adapters.
