Q1: What's the main difference between MC32 and MC3?
A: MC32 is slimmer (10 mm), adds broader modular options, and offers two exhaust configurations, providing greater integration flexibility than MC3.
Q2: We have MC3 on our line—can we swap to MC32 directly?
A: MC32 is discontinued. For replacements, we recommend moving directly to SC1, with minor adjustments to mounting, I/O, and piping as needed.
Q3: How many MC32 units can be linked?
A: Up to 8 units, ideal for distributed cells and multi-pick end-effectors.
Q4: How do we implement monitoring and alarms?
A: Integrate a digital pressure sensor to read vacuum levels and output alarms, enabling PLC/robot logic for part-present and fault conditions.
Q5: What if we need low-noise or clean exhaust?
A: Use the silencer exhaust to reduce noise; for cleanrooms, prefer individual exhaust routed to a designated area. For new projects, consider SC1 with centralized exhaust options.
Q6: What's the recommended replacement now that MC32 is EOL?
A: SC1 Series—offering modern air savings, compact size, and cleanroom-friendly exhaust for current automation standards.
