FAQ
Q1: What is the SGH Series?
A: The SGH Series is a multi-function vacuum gripper for robots. It uses a dual vacuum pad structure for suction handling of irregular workpieces and various packaged items.
Q2: What workpieces can the SGH Series handle?
A: The SGH Series can handle bagged powder, liquid bags, cardboard boxes, wavy workpieces, and uneven workpiece surfaces.
Q3: What is the SGH dual suction structure?
A: The outer sponge seal pad conforms to the workpiece surface, while the center 3-stage bellows rubber pads provide additional suction. This creates an outer sealing and center suction structure.
Q4: What sizes are available for SGH?
A: The SGH Series is available in 90×150, 120×200, and 150×250 body sizes for different workpiece areas and theoretical lifting force needs.
Q5: What outer seal pad materials are available?
A: The outer seal pad can be selected from CR chloroprene rubber or EP ethylene propylene rubber. CR has an operating temperature range of -30 to 130℃, while EP has a range of -20 to 100℃.
Q6: Can the SGH outer seal pad be replaced separately?
A: The SGH-G Series outer seal pads are available separately by 90×150, 120×200, and 150×250 sizes, with CR and EP material options.
Q7: What affects SGH lifting force?
A: Lifting force changes according to the outer seal pad size and vacuum pressure. Larger pad size and higher vacuum pressure provide greater theoretical lifting force.
Q8: Does the lifting force include a safety factor?
A: The values in the lifting force table are theoretical and do not include a safety factor. Actual use should be reviewed based on workpiece conditions, handling position, and safety requirements.
