FAQ
Q1: What is the TAKEX CS-R85?
A: The CS-R85 is a passive-type color sensor that analyzes color ratios through R/G/B light-receptive elements to identify the color of visible light sources.
Q2: What targets can the CS-R85 detect?
A: The standard detection target is a light source that emits visible light, making the sensor suitable for emitted-color inspection.
Q3: How many reference colors can the CS-R85 register?
A: Mode 1 registers one reference color, while Mode 3 can register up to three reference colors.
Q4: Can the CS-R85 detect pulse-lighting sources?
A: Yes. The CS-R85 supports pulse-lighting LED sources.
Q5: Does the CS-R85 support both NPN and PNP outputs?
A: Yes. NPN and PNP open-collector outputs are selectable, with a maximum load current of 50 mA at 30VDC.
Q6: What teaching methods are available?
A: One-point and two-point teaching are available for reference color setting. Mode 1 also supports an external no-voltage teaching input.
Q7: What response times are available?
A: Response time can be set to Auto, 50, 100, 250, or 500 ms or less. Auto mode can respond in 10 ms or less at maximum depending on target lighting conditions.
Q8: Does the CS-R85 have timer functions?
A: Yes. ON delay, OFF delay, one-shot, and timer-off modes are available with settings from 1 to 999 ms.
Q9: Can the CS-R85 use a fiber optic cable?
A: Yes. The FT105BC-CS dedicated fiber optic cable and CS-ND light reception adjustment unit are available as options.
Q10: What applications are suitable for the CS-R85?
A: Applications include emitted-color inspection of LED blinkers, tail lamps, and stop lamps, as well as mixed-model lighting checks together with the CST-R85.
