FAQ
Q1: What is the TAKEX DL Series?
A: The DL Series consists of terminal-block long-range background suppression photo sensors using limited-range reflective detection.
Q2: What sensing ranges are available?
A: The lineup provides 0.2–1 m and 0.2–2 m sensing ranges.
Q3: What models are available?
A: The series includes DL-S100TC, DL-S200TC, DL-S100P, and DL-S200P.
Q4: What is the difference between the TC and P models?
A: TC models operate from 12–24VDC and provide NPN/PNP dual outputs. P models operate from 24–240VAC/DC and provide relay output.
Q5: Can the sensing distance be adjusted?
A: Yes. The sensors provide optical NEAR/FAR distance adjustment.
Q6: Are Light-ON and Dark-ON selectable?
A: Yes. All models allow Light-ON or Dark-ON operation to be selected.
Q7: What is the response time?
A: The DC models respond in 10 ms or less, while the wide-voltage relay models respond in 20 ms or less.
Q8: What light source is used?
A: The DL Series uses an 880 nm infrared LED with a two-segment photodiode receiver.
Q9: What is the protection rating?
A: All DL Series models have an IP65 protective structure.
Q10: What applications are suitable for the DL Series?
A: The sensors are suitable for machinery, logistics, automotive parts processing, food and pharmaceutical equipment, and train approach detection at stations.
