A: The DLN Series consists of fixed-field reflective photo sensors with selectable background suppression and foreground suppression operation.
Q2: What is the maximum detecting distance?
A: The maximum detecting distance is 300 mm, with multiple models covering 30 to 300 mm ranges.
Q3: When should BGS mode be used?
A: BGS mode is suitable when the background is located beyond the set sensing distance.
Q4: When should FGS mode be used?
A: FGS mode is suitable when a stable background is available and the sensor detects changes caused by a target in front of it.
Q5: Does the DLN Series provide both NPN and PNP outputs?
A: Yes. Both outputs are provided, but they must not be used simultaneously.
Q6: What is the response time?
A: The response time is 0.5 ms or less.
Q7: What light source is used?
A: The series uses a 660 nm four-element red LED.
Q8: Does the DLN Series include mutual interference prevention?
A: Yes. Automatic mutual interference prevention is provided for installations with up to two adjacent sensors, subject to installation conditions.
