FAQ
Q1: What is the TAKEX J Series?
A: The J Series consists of quick-change AC/DC power supply photo sensors with an integrated power circuit and relay output.
Q2: What models are available?
A: The lineup includes JT10R, JRM3R, JR07, and timer-equipped JT10RF, JRM3RF, and JR07F.
Q3: What sensing methods are available?
A: Through-beam, polarized retroreflective, and diffuse reflective sensing methods are available.
Q4: What is the maximum detecting distance?
A: JT10R and JT10RF through-beam models provide a maximum detecting distance of 10 m.
Q5: Can JRM3R detect mirror-like objects?
A: Yes. JRM3R and JRM3RF use polarized retroreflective sensing for mirror-like opaque objects and provide a 30–3,000 mm range with the K-7 reflector.
Q6: Does the J Series support both AC and DC power?
A: Yes. All models operate from 24–240VAC/DC ±10%.
Q7: What output does the J Series provide?
A: All models provide a 1a relay output rated at 2 A at 250VAC or less for resistive loads.
Q8: Which J Series models include timer functions?
A: JT10RF, JRM3RF, and JR07F provide ON-delay, OFF-delay, one-shot, and timer-disabled operation.
Q9: How is the J Series wired?
A: The sensors use an M3.5 screw terminal block with three cable entry points. Standard cable diameter is Φ9–11 mm, while Φ6–8 mm cables can be used with the optional JV7 bushing.
Q10: What applications are suitable for the J Series?
A: The J Series is intended for general machinery, logistics, factories, automotive and parts processing, including automatic sorting on logistics conveyor lines.
