A: The LSC Series is a scanning control unit for laser-type cold metal detectors, designed to prevent mutual optical interference when multiple sensors are installed close together.
Q2: Why is an LSC controller needed with multiple sensors?
A: Light from an adjacent transmitter can enter another receiver and prevent correct object detection even when the intended beam is blocked. The LSC synchronizes the sensors to prevent this condition.
Q3: How does the LSC prevent mutual interference?
A: It synchronizes the sensors by externally controlling the emission pulse of each transmitter and the gating timing of the corresponding receiver.
Q4: Which models are currently available?
A: The transmitter models are LSC05L, LSC10L, and LSC20L. The receiver models are LSC05R, LSC10R, and LSC20R.
Q5: Which channel counts are available?
A: The Series is available in 5-, 10-, and 20-channel versions.
Q6: What is the difference between L and R models?
A: Models ending in L are designed for transmitters, while models ending in R are designed for receivers.
